Notitia's client, Melbourne-based Bubup Wilam Aboriginal Child and Family Centre has been given the highest rating a service can achieve under the National Quality Framework, the "Excellent" rating by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
Awarded in December 2023, ACECQA praised Bubup Wilam for leading the children's education sector.
"Bubup Wilam is committed to improving outcomes of children and families and proactively partners with key services, schools, organisations, and professionals from their community and beyond," ACECQA said.
"Bubup Wilam shares its practice and learnings with local schools and other education and care services, helping to ensure their holistic approaches to education, health and wellbeing reaches beyond the children and families who access their service."
One of only three Australian providers that offer preventive + early childhood intervention services, the NAIDOC award-winning centre is miles ahead of the curve in best practice: using a wrap-around early years + wellness service approach.
Independence + connection via a fit-for-purpose mobile application
With their unique technology requirements + challenges, Notitia partnered with Bubup Wilam to help them to develop bespoke technology, a web platform.
Creating their own bespoke tech solution ensured that it met all their needs, as no "off the shelf" product existed that would suit their child-centred approach and unique curriculum.
The solution has provided their care providers and families with a "virtual doorway" into their centre.
It means that Bubup Wilam now has a centralised view of their data, capturing important child and family milestones, which helps them to understand the whole journey of each child - from first enrolment inquiry, through to school-age follow ups.
